چکیده
Abstract The cold sintering process (CSP) is an innovative technique to densify ceramic powders at ultralow temperatures by applying uniaxial pressure and using a transient solvent. However, obtaining dense Li 1.5 Al 0.5 Ge (PO 4 ) 3 (LAGP) ceramics, which have high ionic conductivity, CSP has been challenging subject, because incongruent dissolution from the powder solvent can happen during CSP, that deteriorates grain boundary. In this study, LiNO -LiOH salt used as suppress dissolution. LAGP ceramics densified 220 °C 400 MPa for 5 h no damage As result, total conductivity reaches 1.9 × 10 −5 S cm −1 , highest value ever reported among prepared only inorganic materials.

Cold Sintering Process: New sintering technique for fabrication of nano-structured ceramics below 300 °C - A review
Due to the conventional understanding of sintering phenomenon in ceramic materials, considering two words of “cold” and “sintering” together may arise a doubt to a ceramic engineer since the usual sintering process has been accompanied by a heating regime at elevated temperatures. Recently, a new technique called Cold Sintering Process (CSP) has been introduced and developed as an ultra-low tem...

متن کاملTransient Physical Effects in Electron Beam Sintering
The extensive use of the electron beam in manufacturing processes like welding or perforating revealed the high potentials for also using it for solid freeform fabrication. First approaches like feeding wire into a melt pool have successfully shown the technical feasibility. Among other features, the electron beam exhibits high scanning speed, high power output, and beam density. While in laser...
